The CCPA Group, a socially responsible firm, committed to a strategy of Responsible Development

A firm built up over the years in “Responsible Mode”

Very early on, the CCPA Group adopted a responsible mode of development, endeavouring to reconcile economic development, protection of the environment, social development, responses to the expectations of the livestock sector and farmers, as well as those of society as a whole.

This socially responsible imperative is expressed in the firm’s mission statement, how it operates (production facilities, processes, employees, etc.), through R&D priorities and the solutions it puts forward.

Respect, ethics and democratic governance

The CCPA Group, a union of cooperatives, is run by farmers from different regions in France sitting on a board of directors. The latter is very keen on the efficiency of the solutions put forward and has included the dimension of responsible development in the firm’s mission statement.

Since 1995, the employees of the CCPA Group have been involved in the firm’s equity investment and, therefore, in its board of directors. Today, nearly 76% of its employees are shareholders and are therefore represented on the board of directors with a salaried director, a guarantee of the strong motivation of the employees. Finally, respect for persons and ethics are part of the fundamental values of the CCPA Group.
